BRYAN ROBERT COPPIN R.I.P.

Only One Post That Matters This Month

Bryan passed away in his sleep in Broadview, Saskatchewan on August 5, 2025 due to surgical complications related to a lung cancer diagnosis.

He was 73 but many believed him to be much younger, no doubt due in great part to his 'boyish' and seemingly ever present grin. He had an uncanny ability to connect with and charm just about anyone.

Bryan was passionate about the outdoors and worked many years for the railroad and the Department of Highways - not for him the confines of a 9-5 office. He was first and foremost a 'people person' and both jobs allowed him to meet people from all walks of life, cultures, and social backgrounds on a regular basis.

Complimenting his gregarious nature, Bryan was one of those rare individuals who seemed to intuitively understand how mechanical and electronic things worked. He was always ready to help his family, a friend or a neighbour having issues with everything from their vehicles to their computers. He would shrug, poke around and then announce, "Try it now." Sure enough... problem solved. It seemed like magic at times.

There seemed to be no limit to his mechanical skills and knowledge acquired over the years. Bryan really was a "machine whisperer" and was happiest when tinkering with his tractor, or quad, or computer, or ... you name it.

Rest in peace, Bro!
